My district is going to a "pay for performance" model where students will take a written summative test in physical education. (kinder-5) Yes, a written test.  Does anyone have experience with this and the types of questions they ask, procedures, ramifications if students perform poorly???  Any insights would be appreciated.

Also does anyone live in the D.C. area.  I see they are doing a new teacher evaluation called IMPACT. There are approx. 12 evaluations tool, which one do they use for electives/specials?? And how are physcial educators measured?

Thanks

Hey James,

I just join Classroom 2.0--so I'm hoping to get some contacts with PE teachers across the US

I'm in Wisconsin, where they are about to chance Education a great deal--and am interested in hear about this "Pay for Performance"-I could see this being the way of the future.  Do you know how many other states use this?

Also, do you know of any PE teachers you follow blogs, twitter, or whatever would be helpful?

Thanks,
