Science Materials:
Science materials are notoriously difficult to find and this winter would be a good time to check out
Achiever from
Brainchild.
Achiever is a web-based assessment and instruction program that is customized to specific state standards in math, language arts and science. Educators can register for a
FREE two-week trial to see how the system works and determine how it might fit into your classroom or school.
Spanish Materials:
In January, Brainchild will officially launch Spanish support
Achiever. Any trial you sign up for now will include FREE access to the Spanish materials, which are so easy for the students to access. As they work in Achiever, students can decide if they want to listen and read along to each lesson in Spanish or English or they can toggle back and forth between the two. Study Mode and tests are also available in either Spanish or English!
More Information:
If your school already has an annual subscription to
Achiever, the first 1,000 schools to buy or request the Spanish support will receive it for no additional fee. If you don’t already have access, register for your free two-week trial at
www.brainchild.com. Pick your state and you’ll have the version customized to your state’s exam.
NOTE: You may know of Achiever by its state assessment name, for example: LEAP Achiever for Louisiana, FCAT Achiever for Florida, TAKS Achiever for Texas, and so
