Election 2008 using technology

I have been a high school government teacher for 7 years. I am looking for ways that my students can connect with other students around the nation/world to discuss the 2008 Presidential Election. I would be open to blogging, using a wiki site, Skype, or possible video conference. PLEASE HELP! Would anyone like join me?

I would be willing to try something out. The only thing is that I am in Canada. But we have a federal election on Oct. 14th. Discuss issues that relate to both countries?
