Tech Forum New York - Round Table Discussion on Technology & Special Education

Greetings Educators from the Tech Forum Round Table Discussion on Technology and Special Education. As a special education teacher who has a passion for technology in the classroom I was excited that the conference provided an opportunity for me to connect with educators who had like interests/concerns.

One issue that came up at our discussion was that some districts (without naming names) do not have the funds to support technology use in special education. Another topic of discussion was the use of technology tools in the classroom that would support diverse learners from least restrictive to most restrictive learning environments.

While some of those involved in the round table discussion were active listeners, I'm sure participants have comments or questions that remain unstated. Feel free to post your thoughts here.
