Hey All! I have a big ITS position interview coming up on Monday. Any suggestions on how I can integrate technology with the school?

FYI: I am the current Computer Technology Instructor.

Hi Desmond -

Why not integrate educational TV into learning?
If you think about it, TV is a visual aid for learning that we're all familiar with; the combination of motion and sound that is stimulating, memorable and captivating. The Internet is becoming more and more media-rich, emulating the nature of TV.
On the flip side, TV is adapting too.

With the advent of TV search technology, educators can harness timely, relevant educational programming and infuse it into curricula. What's more, TV streaming works seamlessly over your existing LAN infrastructure.

The Director of Technology for the Plymouth Board of Education, Rich Trudeau, speaks more on how his school district is streaming TV to the classroom with SnapStream Media's technology. Read about it: http://bit.ly/cnbGnz and consider attending our educational webinar next Wednesday. I wish it could be in time for your interview on Monday, but if you mention that you are signed up, it will show that you are taking initiative to pro-actively be "in-the-know" of emerging technology! Thanks Rachel. I will look into this and get back to you with some comments and/or questions.
