Help mobilize volunteers and donors for tutor/mentor programs

I lead the Tutor/Mentor Connection, based in Chicago. The T/MC hosts a database of tutor/mentor programs serving Chicago and leads public awareness efforts intended to help every program in the Chicago region.

Since 1995 we've organized a volunteer recruitment campaign in August, intended to encourage more people to choose programs from our database where they can be volunteers, board members, tech support and/or donors.

I'm starting this group with hopes of recruiting people who want to help youth programs in their own community, and who will share their own talent and network to make this happen.

By building a recrutiment campaign conenction that impacts many cities, I feel we can unlease greater corprorate and media support than any of us can from our own city, or from a single program.
