I'm new a member too.  I do not have much classroom experience but have used many web 2.0 tools in my master level courses. I use twitter primarily as a PD resource and pinterest for lesson resources.  You can follow me @sansajon pinterest.com/sansajon/

I am a kindergarten teacher and am currently working towards my M.Ed as a Literacy Specialist. I am actually taking a course right now on instructional technologies and have recently learned about several neat Web2.0 tools/programs.

Wallwisher-interactive post-it notes (www.padlet.com)

PollEverywhere- for open-ended questions to specific polls to check for student learning or just to start an online discussion (www.polleverywhere.com)

Comic Life 3- templates for creating comic strips. Really neat for encouraging writing in an engaging way. 30-day free trial available (http://plasq.com/products/comiclife3/win)

Storybird-provides students with pictures from artists, illustrators and animators in order to jump start writing (https://storybird.com/). 

I am interested in hearing more about Glogster. Has anyone used it?

Scribble Maps is great, so would Sketchast but I can't get it to work correctly.  Does it work for anyone else?
