Introduction to Software Testing

Software Testing is primarily the process of executing a program or system with the intent of finding errors, defects or bugs. Effective software testing provides experience based practices and key concepts that can be used by an organization to implement a successful and efficient testing program.

In this session, Meenakshi Sundar, who has worked as a Software Programmer and Product Manager for over 06 years and has been active in holding software testing classes in Chennai, would focus on the topics: the importance of software testing, quality in software, reasons for Software Bugs, basic types of testing, CMMi Levels - an SQA Method and a distinction between developer and tester and Product and Project.
