Islamic management and ethics is not a new research that has emerged. After the Islamic banking revolution all around the world, a new discussion about streamlining the Islamic ethics and workplace practices have been started and numerous papers have been written. Topics like ethics, management, human resources, employee relations, humanity, structure, tradition and culture have been explored in an Islamic context by many authors. These scholars have discussed different domains of human resource management in contemporary organizations with an Islamic perspective.

In this session, Minhaaj Rehman introduces the concept of IHRM, or Islamic Human Resource Management. Minhaaj Rehman has an MBA in Human Resource Management and Bachelors in English literature. Minhaaj is an Educational Consultant and Corporate Trainer interested in e-learning and web 2.0 and OER/ FOSS/ FLOSS. He has been teaching American accent, Change management and Human resources.
