Hi I am a teacher/consultant in curriculum development. I am currently working on a big book project incorporating an original story book this division produced. I am currently work with powerpoint , and adding artwork/images, animated text and color, along with the insertion of recorded voice. Wondering what else is out there to complete or change this digital presentation. Its still very much in the draft stage. Any ideas, or if anyone has done something similar would love to hear about it. Thanks!

It sounds like there are some relative new comers to DST here. If you are interested in staff development for your district, let me know. I have been conducting workshops for the past four years.

If I had to attend one conference this year about digital storytelling which one should it be? I am currently driving around the USA and Canada living out of a van with time on my hands.

I am and art teacher who is also into digital storytelling. I make movies with my students to help teach art concepts. We call them Fugleflicks.
See some examples here.

Hello, I enjoy digital storytelling and work with a number of teachers who are beginning to appreciate the power of DST. I recently heard Bernajean Porter at GaETC in Atlanta and enjoyed her presentation immensely.

Hello all,

I had the opportunity to go through DST training with Joe Lambert in Berkeley five years ago, and like you all, I find DST a powerful tool for thinking, sharing, and building community. I would like to share successes and challenges with you; it would be great to get perspectives from others...as well as some samples! Here is my DST resource page: http://jonorech.wikispaces.com

I look forward to hearing from you!

I had an opportunity to participate in a couple of Bernajean Porter's workshops at NECC in San Antonio. The message is always consistent: students (and adults) have compelling stories to tell. BJP's DigiTales work is great and worth knowing about.
