SPN 210: Spanish IV

During this course each student will use this website to post six (6) reactions or response blogs (3% each) in Spanish to recently published news articles about the Hispanic-Culture. These articles can be found in any sections of Art/Literature/Culture of any Hispanic newspaper. A list of newspapers will be provided in the social network site of our class. These reflections will be graded according to: quantity (minimum 250-300 words each), quality of language, vocabulary and grammar, as well as their structure and content: a title, a brief summary of the article, an opinion with a positive comment(s) and a negative comment(s), and a link of the article. Students also have to respond to two (2) classmates for each Blog (see days in the calendar). Each of these responses should be between 50-100 words each. No assignments will be accepted after the published due date/time. Grades will be assigned according to the criteria provided on page 9 of this syllabus. See Calendar for specific dates.
