Great blog Jack! Totally agree on how obsolete the system is, not just in US, but also in Europe. Many things need to change in order to take education to the next - and right - level.

Hi Jack! There are many resources that you can find on: http://www.teachers.tv/, at least to me it has been of great help. Of course they are different solutions depending on the age of the students, and the subject to teach.

Hi ! Thank you for your message about environment. I'll give you more infos about what we do about Education to Environment:
1. Save the Planet Project: this is a european Comenius Project with partners in Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia and... France. We'll prepare it for next schoolyear. I have a preparatory document about it (in english but translation in english is bad, let me some time to improve it !). Comenius Projects are specific to the European Union. But i know that thera are now Comenius Mundus. I have to check this info
2. we're just running discussion on my ning about environment with an american school at Buffalo, N.-Y. to copare american and european policy. You can join us if you are interested
