About Me
I am a library media/educational technology specialist at a K-5 school in Long Island, NY. I am also a teacher/editor for MidLink Magazine, http://www.ncsu.edu/midlink/, and an adjunct instructor for Long Island University in their graduate educational technology program. I teach a lot of educational-technology professional development courses and spend a lot of time on my laptop before the birds wake up. I am also a member of the TeacherLibrarian ning - http://teacherlibrarian.ning.com/profile/karenklieg. And I have so many user names and passwords these days that I now keep a stickie on my laptop to help my overloaded brain remember them!

Karen- Your On the Trail project is impressive- great work! I have 4th/5th grade students and teachers in my lab . This will be great learning experiences for all. Perfect for my plans of introducing Web 2.0 tool to this group. Thanks!

Karen!!!! I found you! How awesome is this NING?! Going to put in a proposal for using this in the classroom for one of the coming conferences. You in? I've got another tech director too using it with admins. Catch up with you soon. Your projects are AMAZING! When do you sleep? ;)

I would like to work with a group on Native Americans. I saw that you did a project a while back. Do you have any suggestions?
