I'm a 30+ year educator, having been a classroom teacher, district administrator, and staff consultant with the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction. Currently, I maintain The Landmark Project a professional development and innovations firm in Raleigh North Carolina.
Thought I would leave some chatter for you Dave. I think the addition of a wiki would be good for this network - -although Steve has already set it up in wikispaces. So, what left here, other than "another place to gather on the Internet" -- Thanks for being my friend... And, yeah, where are the RSS buttons?

Looking forward to starting my "Second Life" as soon as I figure out my Mac/memory issues. Enjoyed the tech forum today, especially the EduBloggerCon! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge!
David-
Your ideas from your presentation here in Wichita are finally starting to take hold. We are working on a integrated technology and health initiative for this fall. Hopefully web 2.0 will be an integral part of the project!
Hi David,
I really enjoyed your keynote at last year's MassCUE conference (2006) as well as that of Dineen Frazier. I just picked up the 2nd Edition of "Classroom Blogging" and am looking forward to using it as motivation for me this school year. Thanks !
Hi David,
I watched you present on Monday in NY and was so impressed by your seamless integration of Excel in a forum where it would have been easier to not go through the trouble. I enjoy watching audience members marvel at the way ordinary human beings are able to manipulate data and hope that with more presenters willing to take the risk of "everything not going right" that educators, especially, will begin to take the risks in their classrooms. I look forward to exploring Landmark for Schools in greater depth. Kind regards.
Hi David. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
