    Hi Heather
I followed your link through my initial contact with Hans. I am also new to Classroom 2.0 and so I thought that I would just drop you a line. I teach at a school in Northern Queensland, Australia I teach a Year4 class of 9 year olds. I am completing the final stages of a Master of Teaching degree which I hope will extend to a Doctoral study. At present I want to review my own practice in terms of the extent to which I actually teach the skills and strategies that support reflective, self-directed learning and then I want to make adjustment and changes in my teaching to address this. I am going to use e-portfolios as reflective journals and am going to develop the students knowledge of Web 2.0 open source software so that they have a broader base of tools that they can use to show their learning process, metacognition and next learning steps.I want to extend my knowledge of SISIMO, Sight , Sound and Motion for reflection, rather that just written reflections.
I am really looking forward to joining the webinar as I have never joined in on one of these sessions. Any ideas or suggestions that will help me develop my knowledge of tools that I could use for audio or anything on e-portfolios will be greatly appreciated. I will keep in touch.

    Hello Heather,

Thank you for the friend addition. I am a technology teacher, but for middle and high school students. Near the end of the 08-09 school year I began to use more web 2.0 tools, many were very useful but others I may need some tips on. Take care.
