About Me
Hi, I am a keen user of ICT in schools - and have been since they blew the dust off the BBC's B's just after I was born! (If you know what I mean, then you know what I mean... all that cassette-tape whistle for twenty minutes just to load in 'Monty').

Things have changed a bit now - just!

My welcome Thomas from Bavaria/Germany! I´m a Deputy as well. And my focus is on Web 2.0 apps in the classroom - feel free to check some of my sites and please consider to join some of my groups like DigiSkills on CR 2.0 with about 477 members or Grou.ps DigiSkills with about 100 members in order to share links and more.
    Greetings
    Hans

    Hi Thomas
I followed your link through my initial contact with Hans. I am new to Classroom 2.0 and so I thought that I would just drop you a line. I teach at a school in Northern Queensland, Australia I teach a Year4 class of 9 year olds. I am completing the final stages of a Master of Teaching degree which I hope will extend to a Doctoral study. At present I want to review my own practice in terms of the extent to which I actually teach the skills and strategies that support reflective, self-directed learning and then I want to make adjustment and changes in my teaching to address this. I am going to use e-portfolios as reflective journals and am going to develop the students knowledge of Web 2.0 open source software so that they have a broader base of tools that they can use to show their learning process, metacognition and next learning steps.I want to extend my knowledge of SISIMO, Sight , Sound and Motion for reflection, rather that just written reflections.
I am really looking forward to joining the webinar as I have never joined in on one of these sessions. Any ideas or suggestions that will help me develop my knowledge of tools that I could use for audio or anything on e-portfolios will be greatly appreciated. I will keep in touch.
