I recently heard about Wubi - the windows installer for Ubuntu. This utility is listed as a beta release, but it seems fully functional. The very special thing about Wubi is that it allows one to install Ubuntu Linux onto an existing Windows partition. The end result is a dual-boot configuration, without the need for separate partitions. And, since Wubi is installed through windows, it can be uninstalled… Continue

Hi Ed --

It's great to so many Canucks in here in CR 2.0. You might want to join a group called "Canadians Mashup". If you join, please use the Welcome forum at http://www.classroom20.com/group/canadianmashup/forum/topics/welcome-to-canadian-mashup to introduce yourself.

Ed,
Thanks. Maybe you can just pass this information along to any middle school science teachers that you know. Have a great year.

Hi Ed,

I'm not sure what grade you teach, but I've started a Ning site for middle school science teachers. If you are interested, check it out.

Kevin
