I am the Technology and Media Services Director for the Escondido Union School District. My interests include video in the classroom and iPod/iTunes in the classroom. I am always seeking information on ways technology can improve teaching and learning.

Apple gave me your information, I'm with a company called Emantras and we launched a platform called Mobl21 (www.mobl21.com) that allows educators to create material (DIY) and push to specific groups of students to an iPhone / iPod Touch (and many other touch points). We have pilots in several school's and universities. I wanted to reach out to you and see if we could connect - I'd love for you folks to play with the platform and see if it makes sense. Best, Supra
My principal visited your school this month and is excited about bringing the iPod technology to our school. Are you the main technology person in charge of the iPod program at your school? How many students at your school and how many people did it take initially to set up the whole system?
I found out about your work with iPods to improve reading fluency in the classroom. I have one iPod that I can use in my classroom but I have only used it for children to listen to reading resources pre made by others.
I was wondering if your idea was for children to record themselves directly on to the iPod and play it back on the iPod or record in some other way and listen to it after it has been put in iTunes.
My iPod can't record directly and I would need research to back any requests I might make to my principal for an iPod that can record. Do you have any kind of research paper for your project.
Hi Kathy. I was wondering if you and your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

HI Kathy - I stumbled upon some of your postings related to iPods in the Classroom and I must say I'm very impressed with all your resources and your iPodess website. Thank you so much for putting that out there. I wrote a grant for the iPod Mobile Learning Lab and I'm in the "gathering" phase of collecting materials for the class for next fall. Thanks for the awesome links and resources!
