Trained Brain

Posted on January 17, 2013 at 10:07am 0 Comments

There were no discussions on brain research lately. So I thought should be discuss if we should teach students how important to train your brain from early ages (pre-K) and if it is too late to do this in the 12th grade, or is it?

Individual learning plans...Is it the answer.

Posted on March 11, 2010 at 11:39am 4 Comments

More then half of students in urban schools are below the level of proficiency in Math and Sciences. Students are part of a system : school (a Teacher) -student- Home ( parents). In that student centered system non proficient students do not read, do not listen, and do not do the home work. Is it an example of a social desease and is an individual learning plan a remedy in a class of 35 kids ?

Also, wanted to mention that this will go a long way towards the goal of student control over their learning, much like an individual learning plan for each learner, and it will be VERY flexible, easy to use and VERY easy to combine with other learning going on, whether in a traditional classroom or independently.

Hi Nellie,  Thanks for the interest.  The work is below the surface right now.  We are partnering with a company to develop a "platform" for us that is going to make this an incredible learning opportunity and open and free!  Should be able to announce more about it within a couple of months!
