I loved the videos. I find blogging a difficult concept to integrate into secondary teaching - I think wikis are much easier when you only see them four hours a week - but I love the idea of using them in primary schools.
I particularly like the possibilities of strengthening community and whanau relationships through blogging, and of teaching children to be content creators, not just content absorbers, from an early age.
Hi Rachel, I use to live in Wellington. I miss NZ. I am looking for middle school students (classroom) to collaborate on a joint "20 question" project, each class sending messages on a wiki to each other- sharing something about where they live, how they live, their lives and friends, photos, video and cumulate by having the other class make a guess as to where the class is from. Any contacts or ideas for me? Thanks! Alison Denver Colorado US
