Let me tell you a bit about me. I am from Argentina, where I have carried out some research that showed a very small percent of secondary school teachers make actual use of the Internet in for their practices. I will be giving a talk next february to share ideas and resources with many colleagues who do not even know about web 2.0. I participate of classroom 2.0 but would like to start my own network so as to show my colleagues here what one can do whith sites like NIng(and also as a personal challenge!) If you could please join me at
http://teach-with-internet.ning.com/
and probably invite some of your colleagues, too. It would be very helful to start making the network grow!
Thanks a lot.
Paula

I'm a teacher in the United States and have a teacher at my school that would like for his science students to talk to students in Uraguay about environmental issues. Would you be able to help? Thanks.
I think you may find this idea interesting.
I am inviting teachers from all over the planet to join and introduce to their students the network for connecting students globally. This is my vision... Please visit: http://kids4kids.ning.com/
You and your students can be the first representatives of Uruguay!
Please share your thoughts with me!
I've become a new member not too long ago and am very excited about this site. Needless to say as a new member I know no one. May I kindly invite you as a guest to my site (http://ntoond2.ning.com/). Any suggestions or comments you may have on how best to navigate the 2.0 world would be most appreicated.
Also, would you care to share any sayings which are particular to your country on my site? For example, in the US one can say "Waste not, want not" or "Birds of a feather flock together", "A stitch in time saves nine"... and so on.
I'd be most grateful.
Thanks and hope to hear from you.
Aaron
Thanks in advance
