- I'm having a very clear realization at this time in my life that I want to become a science educator of students between the ages of 10 and 15. I have a strong science background, a B.S. in Hydrogeology with a Minor in Chemistry. I have worked in manufacturing and environmental consulting as an engineer and as a field scientist. After over13 years of professional experience in the private sector, I now feel a passionate urge to give something back to young people that I would have appreciated when I was that age.
