Still At the Front End of My Learning Curve
I began an earnest effort to learn more about social networking and the web 2.0 world in September of 2008. In my job as the Executive Director of the Virginia ASCD affiliate, I'm particularly interested in how we might use the web 2.0 world to provide services and useful communication tools to our members. My first step was to become familiar with what's out there, join some sites, post on some discussion boards and follow some of the great educators on Twitter. I now have a better handle on what's out there...but am wrestling with what my next steps might be. The possibilities are endless and it's all very exciting.

I'll be at ASCD this weekend. Would be great to hook up with other Classroom 2.0 attendees. Is there a spot on here I haven't discovered where ideas for a meeting has been planned?
By the way, you might be interested in the session I'm doing on Saturday afternoon at 1 on a concept called the "Virtual Learning Magnet".
I'm staying at the Rosen Center and as I mentioned would love to meet with othere classroom 2.0 com folks.
Welcome to Classroom 2.0!
