You had asked about iPhoto in the Classroom examples. Our students (high school) use iPhoto to manage and gather photos for slideshows and Cinepoems (poetry with still images) which they then record in either GarageBand or iMovie (usually just 1 to 3 min). On a Mac, using Safari, if you control + click on a web image, you can import directly into iPhoto.
