I am the Director of the Graduate Teacher Certification Program (Secondary Education), and Masters program in C&I at Concordia University Nebraska. Prior to coming to CUNE, I served as the Director of the Graduate Teacher Certification Program at Concordia University Wisconsin.
I teach graduate education courses through Concordia Wisconsin including: EDG 501 Issues in American Education, EDG 521 Human Learning and Motivation, and EDG 620 Art of Pedagogy The online courses I teach at CUNE include EDUC 500 Foundations of Education, EDUC 501 Contemporary Issues in Education, EDUC 505 Secondary Curriculum Development, EDUC 551 Elementary and Secondary Curriculum Development Design and Evaluation, EDUC 540 Curriculum and Instruction Capstone, EDUC 590 Curriculum and Instruction Practicum, and EDUC 535-537 Portfolio Review.
I am a certified “Quality Matters” Peer Reviewer, and a trained conflict resolution mediator with Peace Ministries. I have taught at all grade levels K-12, as well as planning and designing curriculum for elementary and middle school foreign language programs. I hold a secondary teaching certification in WI, 7-12 Social Studies and German, and an MS in C&I
