Online Educational Comics Helping Students Write, Read, Tell Stories in Many Languages

Dear reader,

I am an author of books that are used in many educational programs to

encourage students to express themselves through writing. I have launched a free new web site -- http://www.makebeliefscomix.com -- where students can create their own comic strips. I do have a question...are the comics only able to be three frames? Is there a way to make them longer, or am I just not seeing that option on the create page? I use comic creation as one option for students to show what they have learned after a unit of study, but three frames is not enough...I require eight normally.

My boys that are constantly writing their own comic strips during class time. Now I can tell them about the site and they will probably use their free technology time to create many comics! I love how comic strips allow students to develop their voice in writing - this one being one of the hardest to teach how to develop.
