About Me
I teach AVID and social studies to 9th and 10th graders. I want to know how Web 2.0 is changing the way brains acquire information, but that's not really what I'm usually thinking about.

Hi Carinna!

Happy New Year! I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Washington!

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Carinna - I am also a social studies teacher (World History Pre-AP 10th grade) and an AVID teacher. This was my first year as an AVID teacher. I'll have another class next year.

Nice to meet you - and I'd love to learn more about what you do with your AVID class.

Hi Carinna, my greetings from Germany!
I have got a lot of sites based on Web 2.0 - feel free to check some. As to Classroom 2.0 - I´ve created the biggest group about digital teaching methods called DigiSkills with now 330 members. Would love if you decide to join.
