Hello Chase,

I am a graduate student at California State University Fresno. I am looking for anyone who might know of a middle school or schools who would like to participate in my master's research project. I am trying to determine how much time middle school students (6th-8th graders) spend on line using social networking sites and on-line collaborative web sites to discuss academic content. I am looking for 1:1 laptop students and also students who do not use laptops in their classrooms. I need the following: school name, contact name and e-mail address. Thanks!

Hi Chase. I was wondering if you have students or educator contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at Please let me know. Thanks!

Since the kids will have laptops check out I have used it some here at the high school (but going to the computer lab can be an issue), but it could be a great way to practice or assess once you get a feel for it. Hope all is well..

Hello Chase,
Welcome to Classroom 2.0. It is a great network and I have enjoyed being part of it over my Summer holidays here in Melbourne, Australia. I am a Visual Arts teacher with a keen interest in new technologies such a blogging, Facebook, Voice Thread etc. Which age group do you teach? It must be an exciting day for you in the USA. we have the TV on watching the Inauguration. It is 1 12am here,
Have a great New Year, Best Regards,
Yvonne Osborn
