About Me: I teach 7th and 8th grade math. Next year my team of teachers will be working with a 1:1 laptop pilot of 75 seventh grade students. We will also teach 50 students who are not in the pilot program.

I am trying to determine how much time middle school students (6th-8th graders) spend on line using social networking sites and on-line collaborative web sites to discuss academic content. I am looking for 1:1 laptop students and also students who do not use laptops in their classrooms. I need the following: school name, contact name and e-mail address. Thanks!

Since the kids will have laptops check out thatquiz.org I have used it some here at the high school (but going to the computer lab can be an issue), but it could be a great way to practice or assess once you get a feel for it. Hope all is well..
