In December 1999, I received my BA in psychology and an MA in educational psychology from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY. I also received my K-12 Special Education and N-6 Elementary Education NYS Teacher Certifications from Marist College.
I have been a special education teacher for over ten years. I started teaching on the island of Kauai, Hawaii in January 2000. After a year and a half, I really missed my family and moved back home to NY in August 2001. I have been working at Rondout Valley CSD as an elementary special education teacher ever since.
In August 2009, I finished my certification as a NYS School Building/District Leader from SUNY New Paltz. My goal is to continue to make a positive influence on the lives of students. As an administrator, I want to do what I can to help teachers teach well.
