Finally Back in Business!

So, the summer has passed and we're back in school. The new pupils seem so small and the nine-graders seem so big. It's funny how everything repeats itself. Don't get me wrong. I love it.

This year is going to be my second time moving towards the advantages of the 2.0 classroom. My best group have created accounts on Google where we have our own group. So far, they've only posted two assignments, but I plan on giving them something chewier (haven't decided what,… Continue

An interesting clip

So, this semester is coming to its end. I must admit, I'm as tired as I'm psyched for the summer. My time is mostly spent with my family - if I'm not working - with Adam (my two-year-old) and Eric (our new-born). Still, I've had some time to check out this clip on Youtube.

It sure makes me think, but for the time being, I have to face the problem of only having four computers on 25 people.

Still, the future is… Continue

And so it begins.

Hi everyone!

I've been researching the Internet and found many tools that are useful. Still there's the situation at my school where we have classrooms made for 26-30 pupils and they're only equipped with three computers. I need not say that this poses problems.

I've chosen this place to post my blog on since it feels right for me.

Currently I work with teenagers 13-16 year-olds teaching English and French and trying to incorporate the latest ICT in my… Continue

Hello!
A colleague and I are starting a Ning page (frenchbookclub.ning.com) which will follow our syllabi for a college level French and Francophone literature in translation course. We would love for you and/or your students to participate! We're under construction until the beginning of the semester (Jan 20, 2009), but feel free to take a look at what we've created thus far! Take care!

Bonjour Daniel,
