About Me: Darrell Walery; Director of Technology for Consolidated High School District 230.
District 230 consists of 3 High Schools serving over 9000 students in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I started my work in the District as a science teacher in 1978. In 1995, I became the district’s first Director of Technology. I have a keen interest in new technologies and currently am acting as the Co-Chair of the Consortium for School Networking’s Emerging Technologies Committee. I have presented at several National Technology conferences and have written articles for national educational technology magazines. My interests outside of work are boating on Lake Michigan and sports. Go Bears!
