I am an English and French teacher. In the past I knew very little about technology. However, I am trying to incorporate Web 2.0 into my personal and professional life. Recently, two other teachers and I created Andalusia High School's Digital Immersion Project (DIP): Digital Teachers Meeting the Needs of Digital Students. Using furnds from grants, we are establishing electronic classrooms for all teachers in the departments of language arts, mathematics, science, and social sciences. We will use this equipment to incorporate project/inquiry-based learning in the four departments. Furthermore, these teachers will receive intensive professional development. We are very excited as we enter this "brave new world." I welcome any suggestions.
