- Over the last 28 years I have taught high school English for 20+ years, middle school/junior high English for @4 years. I am in my second year as the Gifted Support teacher for students in grades 6-9 in a small rural/suburban school district. For @8 years at the high school level I helped develop and was chairperson for a school within the senior high school for the disconnected learner. The program incorporated technology, English and Social Studies to re-engage students in learning.
