Will you be impacted by the change in pension regulations? They are proposing that anyone who now retires after August 1, 2010 will have to pay 1.5% of their Medical Benefits, and their pension payment will be based on their last 5 years of service instead of last 3 highest years. NJEA is estimating that 30,000 teachers will be retiring. I might be one of them!!
