About Me: I’m Emily Hawthorne, creator of In Your Pocket Now. I’m a wife and mother to the two most adorable puppies in the world. I have an M.A. in K-12 Educational Leadership and have just over 8 years experience working in the field of education.

Educational technology grew as a passion of mine almost immediately. I am forever on the lookout to find more convenient and innovate ways to do what I’m already doing. Technology has provided me with the opportunity to do that.

My goal is to bring awareness to the many free technologies that are available to educators and to excite classrooms of all shapes & sizes. Whether you are a newbie or an expert; technology innovates us all.
