Fred Mindlin is a digital storytelling evangelist and a creative computing coach. He taught 3rd and 4th grade for a dozen years, first as a bilingual/multicultural specialist and then as one of the original teachers with Alianza Charter School's two-way immersion program. He spent the last seven years of his public school teaching career as a technology integration trainer and administrator. Since retiring in 2006 he has been consulting with schools and non-profit organizations on digital storytelling, which he calls “the cat’s meow” of technology integration. Board President, Pajaro Valley Arts Council, and Fellow of the Central California Writing Project. Presenter at Silicon Valley Computer using Educator’s Mini-CUE and as part of the Central California Writing Project’s Advanced Learning Institute.
