About Me
I've been a teacher for 25+ years . . . I qualified with majors in English Literature and Food and Nutrition and a minor in Family Studies (Human Development), but being in a small school, over the years I have taught english, literature, health education, food, textiles, computers (prep to yr 12!!), youth development (VYDP, Advance), human development, integrated materials technology . . . I am now teaching a composite grade 3/4/5/6 in a small rural primary school.

. . . love to play games (online and on PC) . . .

travel when I can (last trip was on The Ghan . . .
. . .next trip is to France/UK/Germany/Holland/Switzerland) . . .

. . . still find time for more traditional crafts . . . and read books as often as I can!!

Virtual Classrooms

I try to be creative and innovative in my approach to teaching . . . I've just about perfected the game show approach to education (name a tv show and I'll think of a classroom application!!) . . . but I'm not convinced about the Ultranet-everything-online-24/7 approach. I don't think that the majority of students are ready for it . . .
