Wayne Barry is the Learning Technologist for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Canterbury Christ Church University. Wayne is working with academic staff to develop their use of technology to enhance learning, teaching, assessment and research. He is interested in the teaching and learning applications of social software and how e-portfolios can be developed as educational and professional development tools. He holds a degree in the Social Sciences and this has developed a strong interest into the nature of identity within the digital world.
In a previous incarnation, he has had some considerable experience as a senior web developer / project manager specialising in e-portfolio systems for the Primary and Secondary Education sector. He is also a Chartered IT Professional with the British Computer Society.
