I have had a wide and varied career starting with a degree in Environmental Science from the
University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK and specialising for most of my career in Environmental Education. I also have a Masters in ICT in Education from
Monash University. On my professional journey I have also lived and worked in a number of other countries –
Tuvalu,
Malaysia,
Papua New Guinea and
Nepal – as both a volunteer and as a consultant. I’ve also worked for local and state governments in Queensland, as a Lecturer in Environmental Education at QUT and as the Coordinator of a Non-Government Organisation called the
Global Learning Centre. Now I am Advanced Studies Coordinator in the
School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management at the University of Queensland where I am working on an Emerging technologies project. Here's my CV as a word cloud! I used
Wordle.
I am also the author of the recent
AusAID Global Education Project publication
