Northeastern Ilinois University, Northern Illinois University, Hamline University
About Me
I have an M.A. in LInguistics with a concentration in TESL from Northeastern Illinois University and a PhD in Educational Linguistics from the University of New Mexico. I taught adult academic ESL for many years along with being a TESL Teacher Trainer. These days, I mostly teach graduate and undergraduate students in TESL methodology, primarily at NEIU, where I am a full time lecturer. I also am an adjunct faculty member at Northern Illinois University, and I teach on-line classes for Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. I have a strong interest in technology and by default, I have become the "tech expert" at NEIU. However, compared to a real expert, I am just an enthusiast. I am a big fan of wikis, but a failed blogger. My website is terribly out of date, so I won't share it right now.
