Prior to coming to Harvard to start the Language and Literacy program, I taught third grade in Wake County Public Schools in Raleigh, North Carolina. Although I loved the school, my students and obviously the whether, I decided to move north where I received a master's from Boston College in Educational Administration last spring. While at Boston College, I had the opportunity to intern with a principal in the Newton Public Schools and supervise student teachers in the Boston Area. I was amazed to see the varying amounts of technology that was used in the local schools and the pros and cons of their presence.

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you have any 2ndary education contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT. We're trying to get the word out as much as possible because the more videos we get, the more helpful we can be!
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
