School / Work Affiliation: Formerly Illuminate Education & Saddleback Valley Unified School District

About Me: I'm a former teacher, former site administrator, former district administrator, and co-owner/Chief Education and Research Officer of Illuminate Education. However, my interests are non-commercial. I am almost finished with my PhD dissertation focusing on how data systems need to play a stronger role in ensuring data analyses are accurate, which comes at the end of extensive research about which I feel extremely passionate. I am interested in sharing with - and learning from - other educators to help end the data-"mis"informed epidemic that hurts students, as well as furthering dialogue on the use of data to help kids.
