I have had very limited success so far with the Wiki Trials that I have tried to implement. I organised a PB Wiki site for some colleagues just to test how effective they could be with communication across the group and so far very few people have used it. There was an initial attempt at use but without collaboration from the whole team it just falls by the wayside.
Has anybody out there had success with Wikis and how do you motivate people to use them?

From what seems like very humble beginnings and the excitement of seeing power point for the first time, I am now amazed at the amount of resources that we have the potential to use in our classrooms.
In the institution that I work in we use the Blackboard system and are currently running at what I believe is version 6.2?
The uptake from teaching staff has been limited and I think there is still the fear that if you download information into the space you may not ever be able…

We have been playing around with the SL options here, looks like it could be really helpful for engaging some groups of students. Need to spend some time practicing though as I can't quite navigate with any real confidence!
Had some fun with SL a few weeks back then something went wrong. Think I have to download and install the latest version. Certainly looks like something that can be used in the e-learjning field. I have seen a couple of good examples.
Anyhow, I suppose ur sitting around in tshirt and shorts while the rest of the country freezes :)
