SwipeTapTap Giveaway

Posted on May 26, 2011 at 6:59pm 0 Comments

I'm a big fan of the use of puzzle apps in the classroom. I think that they can be great for stimulating higher level thinking skills and for encouraging creative thinking. I have a lot that I use on my iPod Touches at school.

One of the latest ones that I have used is SwipeTapTap. It is great for concentration and memory skills. It encourages fast thinking and attention to detail - all good classroom skills!

For a chance to win a copy of SwipeTapTap for your…

New Bluetooth Mouse

Posted on September 21, 2009 at 4:30pm 0 Comments

Today I took delivery of a Bluetooth Rocketfish Wireless Laser Mouse! It connected to my Macbook with no problem at all and looks great. It has a range of about 30 feet, like most Bluetooth mice, and should be a useful tool for my classroom. No longer will I need to stand next to the LCD projector with my laptop. I can wander the room, or stand out the way of the screen. Best… Continue

Well, I can't be accused of being the stuffy suit all the time! There is a human element often missing in titles. I once saw the ID badge of the head of Apple's infrastructure at Cupertino (He goes by the name of Buzz) - it was far from the "corporate" passport photo we are all used to.

Thanks for the comment. Hoping it wasn't too sarcastic ;-)
