As Education Outreach Coordinator for the Electronic Frontier Foundation, I work with EFF's topnotch staff attorneys and activists on creating a balanced and interactive (fun!) K-12 curriculum designed to teach kids about copyright law. I'm also developing youth-friendly animation and video tutorials to help teachers and their students explore the concepts of fair use, the public domain, free speech, and the true history of copyright and technology. Before EFF, I worked as a Motion Picture Sound Editor for feature films, documentaries, and television animation. A dotcom detour in 2001 took me from Los Angeles to Dharamsala, India where I taught Tibetan monks how to digitize and preserve the Dalai Lama's sacred teachings.
