About Me: I have been teaching at and also running a Montessori classroom in North Carolina for the past 15 years. The school provides programs for infants through 8th grade.

My partner and I have recently formed a new corporation and intend to build a high school in the area which will twin with a school in South Africa. We are very interested in utilizing Web 2.0 in our classrooms.

Although I've worked in regular school settings for most of my career- elementary, middle, and high school, right now, I work at a program for students with multiple special needs. We use technology to support learning and communication.

We just moved to a new school- this week, and we have all sorts of new technology. We will be using Moodle soon.

We have quite a few students who have autism at our school, and we are doing a lot with digital photography and video to create social stories and so forth.

I'm using a 19 x 19 NextWindow touch screen monitor to assist with assessment and try out little applications, widgets, and games that I make.

Thanks for your message. Are you currently a practicing school psychologist? Are you using this technology now in some way? I am working on establishing a high school utilizing this Web 2.0 and a social networking platform. It's been quite a learning curve for me so far!
