About Me

I am a former humanities professor, who taught literature, writing, and cultural philosophy for 20 years. I currently work with Common Ground Publishing to develop the Scholar learning environment, a social platform that supports learning to write, based on the education research of Drs Bill Cope and Mary Kalantzis, professors at the University of Illinois College of Education. I am passionate about innovating for education to improve its experiences and outcomes for the whole student.
