- I am enrolled at the University of Connecticut in the IB/M program for Special Education. I am currently student teaching at Bulkeley High School in Hartford, CT.
Last summer I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer in the Dominican Republic. The experience of teaching children living in poverty really opened my eyes and helped me see how grateful some students are for their teachers. This was a life changing experience that has helped me realize that I want to work in urban or impoverished areas.
