About Me
I live in a small town very close to Cincinnati in an old house, a fixer-upper, with my Shetland Sheepdog. I'm in my twentieth year of teaching children at the elementary level. I am always searching for new ways to plan learning experiences for my students.

Hi, Kim! I'm just playing around on the computer. I set up a pbwiki just as practice and now I'm at a loss how to delete it. Are you still up for setting up a wiki for our Marzano study? Marilyn says she'll help, too.

Hi Kim!

Hope you had a nice winter break. I was wondering if you have any high school contacts who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get students involved from Ohio!

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

I'm searching for fresh ways to immerse my students into mathematics. I studied Marilyn Burns for a number of years, but now I'm interested in bringing more technology into my classroom. I hope to help my students gain a deeper understanding of numbers, the different ways to respond to them, and how they connect to our every day lives. Our district is helping us to learn how to plan our instruction using the "Understanding by Design" way of thinking. As I plan, I want to incorporate more technology so I can meet the goals I mentioned above.
