Video Thoughts..

After watching "A Vision of K-12 Students Today", it made me think of the advances we need to make in our education system. Budget cuts is such a hot topic right now, but we should also be focusing our time and efforts to improve our teaching styles. Students need information in a different way than they used to. It is up to us to provide them with new teaching styles and new formats of learning. As I was watching the video, it made me think about my students and what statistics they would fall under. What piece of paper would my students hold up? I will continue to search for new ways to incorporate technology into my classroom and use it to teach my students. I look forward to reaching students in a different way through technology.

We really need to hang on to new teachers...they bring great energy and creativity. We also need to continue the advancement of latest technologies...we can keep operating in the 20th Century.
